Performance Management day - the day I get to hear what my staff think of me, what my boss thinks of the job I’ve been doing over the last 6 months and what she expects of me for the next 6 months.

Not sure if I should be nervous. I think I’ve had a productive and successful 6 months but does anybody else?

Could be interesting….

And now it appears to be working. Hopefully just a glitch. I like Ping.FM but I wrote quite a long post this morning and to have it go into the ‘ether’ is rather annoying.

Injuries are all the go in our household right now...

Daughter - sore finger from basketball
Son - broken finger from wrestling with me
Me - Sore back from … actually I don’t know what it’s from - probably old age.
Wife - still in ok condition - fingers crossed she stays that way.

So a friend of mine was 40th in line to get an iphone this morning. I then got to sepdn a reasonable part of my day playing with it. (Note: they haven’t been available in Oz until today). First impressions - pretty kewl. Love the touch screen - I’ve got a HTC Touch that I’ve always been impressed with and the iphone is much better. Add that to the ipod functionality and then just having a pretty nice phone and I reckon I shouldn’t be ashamed to be suffering from phone envy :-)
